I'm a big fan of old school British Puddings: chistmas pudding, spotted dick, etc. But i'd never had Sticky Toffee Pudding. We ordered one at Brown's Bistro and it was AMAZING. An incredibly moist cake of ground dates, dressed in a thin caramel sauce, served warm with cool clotted cream (it's like if you were making butter and stopped halfway there).
Holy crap. It's good. One of the best things I've ever eaten.
Are you going to attempt to make these for Christmas? I think Mom will need to try these out...
