Another British classic, safely in my tummy. Yes, of course i'm gaining weight on this trip: piss off, I'm on vacation. Best of all, I got it at the Fursty Ferret in Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Brings to mind Dick Van Dyke's crappy cockney accent in Mary Poppins, eh?
Jam sponge pudding is a warm piece of pound cake served with hot jam (strawberry in my case) and hot creme anglaise (think very thick melted ice cream). Way awesome yummy!
